Sheer beauty in metal. This extraordinary piece was created from my continuing experiments with making tatted or crocheted lace out of chainmail. It has the delicacy and fall of lace, with its old time charm and beauty, and the unexpected edge of metal. Modern and classic in one piece, this beauty can be worn both with scoop necklines and high necks, to different and intriguing effect. This piece is made to order and takes approximately three weeks to make, and will be sized to fit. You can order it in the original silver plated chainmail or in stainless steel. Measures approximately 18in around the centre.

My daughter ordered this with her summer job earnings and it is MAGNIFICENT. It looks like cloth lace until you get close enough to see the detailed metalwork. My daughter is wearing it almost daily, with all her black blouses and dresses, to give her more modern dresses a Victorian twist. It's well worth the money. My daughter actually has learned to make her own chain mail jewelry but says the work and detail that goes into this piece means that it would take forever to make. If you want a show-stopper to wear with your little black dresses, this is the piece you want.
I love this collar! Lace collars are great, but a lace collar made out of chainmail?!? Awesome!! It's beautiful and moves as though it's fabric. The weight is perfect and reminds me of my inner strength, but the links feel almost silky when I fidget with it. It's perfect in every way. (I opted for the stainless steel version for durability.)
