A variation on one of my most popular designs, the Alice Enchained doubles the swoops in the Alice and brings them a new, yet familiar-feeling twist.
I begin with 4.5mm stainless steel links, either in their original silver hue or fired to show a spectrum of color that is only revealed after exposure to temperatures above 400°F. I connect them in the signature pattern for the Alice, then add a second row of loops for a more elaborate look.
The result is a simple-seeming necklace with the presence of a Victorian or Edwardian lace collar. Its steel construction is sturdy enough to withstand your fidgeting fingers or the fiddling of a baby, yet elegant enough to wear with formal attire.

Iron Lace Design has done it again! The Kissed by Fire Alice Enchained is gorgeous. The colors are beautiful and so hard to capture in photos. I receive so many compliments when I wear this necklace (or any of my pieces from Iron Lace Design) that I have started carrying their business card with me.
