The Harriet Vane
"A marriage of two independent and equally irritable intelligences seems to me reckless to the point of insanity."
-Busman's Honeymoon, Dorothy L. Sayers
This is my interpretation of an early 30s piece, lovingly dedicated to Harriet Vane, the delightful and strong minded heroine of the Lord Peter Wimsey novels by Dorothy L. Sayers. It is designed to be somewhere in between Art Nouveau and Art Deco, with a slightly medieval feel for her slightly mediaeval aesthetic. Handmade in gold plated stainless steel and deep red crystal, it measures 30 inches and slips over the head.
