I start by hand-linking stainless steel rings together to form the base for the pendant, then subject the pendant and base to temperatures ranging from 400-630F. The fire brings out different colors in the steel, just as love tested by the fires of life brings out the best in each of us.

The picture does not do this justice. In person it has a delicate look, but as a mother of three young children, I can assure you it is not. The fired look is unique and beautiful.
